NCC at Glance

• On 4th August 1949 independent unit of NCC was started in Rajaram College and was inaugurated by CAPT F. N. Entee (Rajputana Rifles) Called 5 MAH Unit which was then converted to present Kolhapur Group NCC
• Units : TWO (5 MAH BN and 1 MAH ARTY BTY)
• Establishment: 1949 and 1968
• Intake Capacity: 54 + 100
• SUO Chirag Sharma and CDT Banu Shikalgar Participated in RDC-SNIC PM Rally 2015
• CDT Mukund lad CDT Aniruddh Bhosale got Gold Medal in RDC-SNIC PM Rally – 2014
• SUO Nine Dhiraj Shivprasad Two Gold in TSC Delhi – 2014
• SUO Nine Dhiraj, JUO Kadam Udayraj R, SGT Patil Pooja, CDT Omkar Bhat – Gold Medal and Champion Banner in RDC-SNIC PM Rally – 2013
• SUO Abhisheh Purohit Gold Medal and Champion Banner in RDC-SNIC PM Rally – 2012
• 20 cadets participated in National Integration Camp (NIC) during the last 5 years and won more than 10 medals
• JUO Srikant Jadhav (2011) JUO Omkar Sutar, SGT Amar Patil (2015) participated in Thalsena Camp (TSC), Delhi
• Five cadets participated in Ocean to Sky Trekking Camp
• JUO Shahaji Madbhagat got a Gold Medal in Thalsena Camp (TSC) for Map reading – 2013
