Research Activities
Most of the faculty members of the department have doctorate degree.
Various topics of research like Ideology and Politics of the Armed Revolutionary Movement in Maharashtra, A Study of Leadership in Local Self-Government in Western Maharashtra , Caste Land Tenure and Political Position : A Study - With Special Reference to Kolhapur District (Rural Political Economy ) are explored by the faculty members.
Several research papers are published in the UGC care list journals and in Peer –reviewed research journals.
Department encourages students to undertake research activity by introducing them to the principals of Political Science.
Students are given project work. Students share their findings with their peers in the class seminars.
The department is making efforts to attract research funding for undertaking a major research project.
